Sustainable and Engaged Futures
Energy Future
At the crossroads of key societal and environmental debates, the “Sustainable and Engaged Future” workshops aim to bring scientists and the wider public closer together.
Inspired by the science café model, we invite participants to engage in open dialogue with experts, ask questions, and share their opinions in six interactive public discussions. Each workshop is designed as an inclusive space where diverse viewpoints are welcomed and valued.
Our goal is to strengthen the connection between society and the University of Luxembourg by fostering direct interaction, openness, transparency, and public engagement. Join us on this exciting journey to bring science closer to the community and work together toward a more sustainable and engaged future.
Our first workshop features an inspiring public discussion with Professor Marie Friedel, Professor of Nursing Science at the University of Luxembourg, and Dr. Anthony Lepinteur, researcher at the Department of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Luxembourg. The topic: Sustainable health systems for sustainable well-being.
Together, we’ll explore why and how sustainable health systems are essential to ensuring long-term societal well-being, and just how deeply interconnected and interdependent these aspects are.
Through a captivating talk, an interactive session, and lively discussions, you’ll gain insight into how health and well-being are linked—and why they must be approached with sustainability in mind.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with individuals and experts, share your ideas, and be inspired to make a lasting impact in building a future where sustainable health practices lead to sustainable well-being for all.
