Discover LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden on the SR show “Wir im Saarland – Grenzenlos”, which airs every Monday and features captivating and diverse stories from the border regions.
One of the standout pieces featured was The Living Pyramid by Agnes Denes, a project created in partnership with Mudam Luxembourg. This installation blends nature, mathematics, and geometry to offer a reinterpretation of our ever-changing environment, as explained by Barbara Florian, Head of Communications at LUGA.
The episode also highlighted several of the gardens showcased at LUGA, including the urban garden Endymion, which focuses on drought-tolerant plants, and the Pétrusse valley, dedicated to the Young Creators. These projects tackle key themes such as biodiversity, sustainable food production, and environmentally conscious urban development, covering a wide spectrum—from medicinal plants to the food we eat.
In Ettelbruck, a town with a rich agricultural heritage, LUGA invites visitors to “make the invisible visible” by showcasing local crops through agricultural cultivation demonstrations at the Däichwisen. In this way, LUGA’s slogan truly comes to life through these temporary projects.
