LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden is an open-air exhibition of urban gardens, landscape and art installations, agricultural projects and living spaces to be discovered from 7 May to 18 October 2025.
The LUGA ephemeral exhibition will take over five emblematic sites in Luxembourg: the Edouard André municipal park, the Pétrusse valley, the Alzette valley, the Kirchberg and the town of Ettelbruck in the Nordstad.
For six months, this unique and largely free exhibition will be an open-air laboratory of ideas, a platform for exchange and experimentation, where every visitor can contribute to a collective reflection on the future of our cities and take part in a wide-ranging program and series of events linked to the LUGA themes.
This program brings together one-off or recurring events, as well as permanent or temporary installations, which are located outside the LUGA zones: the municipal park, the Pétrusse valley, the Alzette valley, Kirchberg (Park Dräi Eechelen and Kuebebierg) as well as the town of Ettelbruck in the Nordstad.
These events will benefit from additional visibility by being included in the LUGA exhibition program on LUGA’s website with a ‘Satellite Project’ label. This will give visitors the opportunity to discover the multitude of activities around the theme of ecology, even if they take place outside the LUGA zones.
-Satellite projects will not be eligible for financial support from LUGA Asbl.
-Events and installations submitted in this context will be selected on the basis of criteria by a LUGA jury.
